Screenprint Wallpaper pattern

This wallpaper pattern was created by combining some of the American quilts my mother had, and the Cherokee blankets and pillows from my father’s side that I have seen over the years. I also included a nod towards the Navajo Nation from my experience there through the center shapes. 

I found myself being very connected to this piece, moreso for a homage to the ancestry on both sides of my family and to a trip that will always have a special place in my heart. It was a pattern of home. This wallpaper brought out so many emotions in myself that created this sense of reassurance, and hope for a future amidst a time full of chaos. I wanted to show my gratitude in this piece with you! Thank you.
