In 2020, land acknowledgements are becoming more common in professional settings, universities or theatrical performances. All around the U.S.A it is important to understand that you are on Native land. To acknowledge and respect this, Respect was created to show a beautiful abstraction of a land formation on the Navajo Nation. Layered over the black ink a transparent base was created to show the words; “Do you know whose land you’re living on?” to help bring land acknowledgements into the viewers everyday perspective.

Visit to figure out whose land you’re living on or text your Zip code or City name and state to (907) 312-5085.
